Does removing metadata reduce the photo’s quality?
No — the EXIF block is cut out directly from the file; the image data itself is never re-compressed or re-encoded.
Does this work on PNG or WebP photos?
Only JPEG is supported for now, since that’s the format that carries EXIF/GPS data in practice — PNG and WebP photos from phones rarely include it.
